What we have learned over the last few years is that almost any media recording device will be good enough to get the job done if you have a great story to tell.

Good enough. Add a lens and a few apps and you are ready to shoot an awesome motion picture. Search this site. You will learn many of the basics that you will need to get started. You will learn about cool gadgets and apps that will make your film a wall in the park to get done. Film making is not that hard once you decide on what it is going to be about and what you are going to shoot it on. The rest is just time and effort. You can make a feature length motion picture by working just a few hours each weekend over a few months or even a year. That is how Christopher Nolan shot his first feature, Following.

I have to tell you it is fun to tell those who ask me what do I do that I am a film maker. Sure it is low budget and independent, but it is still film making and with the power of social media these days who knows which one of us is going to be the next big thing.
