iPhone Gadgets and other cool things

If you are going to be an iPhone filmmaker you are going to need Filmmaking apps and cool gadgets to help you on this journey. Holding the phone and shooting as you follow you cast around without a tripod or stabilization is not going to work unless you are making a movie for just yourself and a few close friends.

You are going to need Apps and Gadgets.

If we are ready to begin, let’s talk Gadgets.

The first cool gadget is called a Tiltpod. Here is a basic introduction video for it. If you want to get one you can find it through Google.

Next item is called a GLIF, it can be used to hold and secure an iPhone so that you could easily attach it to a tripod or Monopod. I believe that you can order one from the creators who have provided this video.

Next up is a Tripod Adapter.

Next is a basic review of different mics that you can use with the iPhone.

I will add more about lenses later, but this one is a good start. Let’s look at the Olloclip 3 in 1 lens.

THE IPHONE RIG

Another cool gadget is the recently introduced iphone filmmaking rig. This is a great little device that acts as a sort of handheld steady cam. It also attaches easily to a monopod and or tripod for a more professional shooting set up.
